SUBJECT: FOODS OVERPRICED ISSUE AND HOW TO RESOLVE IT.
I would like to bring into your attention the issue of overpriced products through this letter as you are the most senior persons of Whole Foods company. This issue came up out after several customers complaint about the same and afterward they had conducted a research to prove the matter. Am aware that this issue may have come out un intentionally. We can to realize that most of the packed foods and products were either over priced or mislabeled. For instance we weighed 10 packages of chicken tenders of which were priced at $9 per pound. The Consumers who had bought these packages were to be charged by about $ 4 . One package was therefore overpriced by $ 5 causing them to suffer allot (Anklam atel 2009). Other products which were overpriced are vegetable which were priced at $20 per package were overpriced by $2.50 on average since they were budgeted to cost $ 17.50. other chicken tenders were overpriced by an average $4.13 a package. In addition, in the stock market our value in shares has dramatically decreased making the company to have low credit worthiness. According to the report released recently, the company is also facing an increased competition from specialty food grocers such as Trader Joe’s supermarkets and Kroger’s which are expanding their organic food selection internationally and thus if measures are not taken up we can lose outside market , This issues on overall will affect the general performance of the organization profit and its credibility( Roth at el
