The two films i have watch was great and inspiring. I’m basically about to tell you about my opinion about both films. In The Whole Gritty City and Ballou Majestic Knights Documentary the kids was in poverty. Both of the films kids had to deal with gangs and violence and still went to band practice and games to perform. In both films the band was there family so either way it go the kids had to get along.
Ballou Majestic Knights Documentary the film is about a band that is in poverty. That is going threw it but they try to still maintain a lifestyle. The Whole Gritty City they showed certain people’s backgrounds. They lifestyle like how they live and what they are going threw outside of the band. In one of the films one of the kids was scared to walk on a specific street because they had guns and dangerous weapons on that street.

In one of the films a girl said that since she got in a band that she don’t fight no more and she get good grades now and she don’t talk back. Like since people join the band like they change in all types of way like kids behavior can change and they can stay out the way of violence and basically like stay off the streets. Some kids be all up in gangs and violence and then they join the band and then the kids don’t even be on that bad negative energy no more. They be good and stop being in gangs and all up in violence and like i guess the band inspire them in a way that they just love band and they can express they stress or something in the instrument. I didn't know that when you in the band you go out of town and stuff i thought they just go to practice and perform at football games and i think basketball and that's it but no i guess it's more to it.
