Who’s the most important character in the story TKAM? Well I think the most important character in the story is Atticus. The reason I think that Atticus is the most important character is because he defends black people, he loses in court (but, he doesn't compromise his values), they trust him so the black community gave him food.
Atticus defends black people so he does not make a lot of money. He was the only white lawyer that would defend them because black people weren’t treated well. “You know the court appoints him to defend this nigger”(218). He was a lawyer for a black guy named Tom Robinson’s. He defends black people because they aren't treated well by the town.
