Illinois State University seems like a great fit for me. I know many students who attend Illinois State University, and they are always telling me about how great the school is and how amazing the campus is. I have done some research on the university and the campus and all of the information I found stood out to me. I found nothing that made me skeptical about the university. It would be an honor to be able to attend Illinois State University. Based off of what my friends have told me, I am very interested in attending ISU.
One of my educational goals is to attend a four year university and to receive my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Business Management. Attending ISU would help me attain this goal because I’ve heard that the business program at Illinois State University is very good. Another academic goal I have is to attain an education that will continue to benefit me long after graduation. Receiving my degree from Illinois State University will help me achieve this goal, and I would be proud to show off my diploma from ISU.

A few of my closest friends will be attending ISU next year studying the same field as me, so I will be able to study and work with them when possible. This would make me feel much more comfortable than going to a different University or College where I don’t know anyone at all. One of my academic weaknesses is the tendency to procrastinate. Attending Illinois State University would help me overcome this weakness because the faculty and staff at ISU are heavily involved and I could always go to someone for help if needed. The weakness of procrastination has developed a personal academic strength of being able to work under pressure. Working and studying under pressure at ISU would allow me to study in libraries or different kinds of study tables offered at Illinois
