Do you think it is important to keep fit? What kind of sport activities are the most popular amongst young teens these days? We all know about all kinds of sport games. Since kids like spending their spare time outside, playing football, basketball, soccer or go skiing or snowboarding in the winter. What is a sport? What does it mean? Some people may hesitant to changes to what can and not be a sport. What is esports? Esports are electronic sports, or video gaming as a sport. A specific game played for sport would be an “esport”. Having millions of people going out to the stadium to watch the sport, or watching it on tv, espn, etc… The amount of money the sport brings in, the viewership, how are they watched. You can make a living from being a athlete of a sport. All of these things are also true about esports. Esports is watched through a program called twitch which provides free social video game streaming. Amount of viewership esports brings in is huge. Esports proved that its following is huge. In 2013, a game called league of legends brought in the 2nd highest amount of views in a single event with (27 million) viewers, beating out every sporting event except for the Super Bowl. The money brought in by esports event in august of 2015, the Dota game had a tournament that was played over five days, and the prize pool was $18,429,613, which would make it the 4th highest prize pool in sports history, beating out the Super Bowl and The World
