Adding on, Jackson was very popular, he was most known for the "War of 1812", in this war he led his troops that defeated the Creek Nation tribe in the Battle of Horseshoe Bend and later defeated the British in the battle of New Orleans.
Based on my research of Andrew Jackson, the question of if Jackson could win the presidency in 2020 it's clear. In my opinion, I think that Jackson could lead the Nation to success, and make improvements to the Nation. There's no reason that he will not make mistakes, but the majority of his decisions will be good. But according to 10-1 in paragraph 2, sentence 4, it states,"Under the Twelfth Amendment, when no candidate gets a majority of electoral votes, the House of Representatives selects the president. " During the House prepared to vote, Clay and Adams made an agreement that Clay would use his influence as Speaker of the House to defeat Jackson.

Grant had gathered 214 electoral votes, where as Horatio Seymour had only a total of 80 electoral votes. At the time the presidential candidate only needed 214 electoral votes to win the presidency because not all of the 50 states were established at the time. In the year 1868 there was only a total of 294 electoral votes.
