Many factors came into play that led to Britain becoming the first country to undergo industrialization as part of the Industrial Revolution. One of the most significant of these factors is the location of Britain. Britain’s location allowed the empire to control the overseas, which also allowed for easily navigable rivers and the creation of strong canals.
