Lennie small was murdered near a creek outside of Soledad many days ago. He was killed by one gunshot wound to the back. The accused, George Milton is being charged with his murder. He is being charged with voluntary manslaughter because he killed Lennie while in a time of passion and out of sympathy for him.
Her husband was very mad his name was Curley. So since Curley was disturbed about his wife he wanted to execute Lennie. The next moment Curley had a gang ready to find Lennie, but only George knew where he was at. In conclusion George goes to Lennie and him before anyone else can hurt him. There is debate whether George slaughtered Lennie with justification or not.
Was George Justified for killing Lennie? George is not justified in killing Lennie, Lennie would have gone to court and gotten prison. The fact that Lennie was mentally disabled, would have changed his sentence, also George could've protected Lennie from Curly so that he would get a proper trial.
I do agree that George did the right thing shooting Linnie instead of Curley and the others shooting him for the pain instead of caring about Curley 's wife that just died. George did do the right thing because Curley wanted to kill Lennie and by kill he wanted Lennie to suffer by shooting him in the stomach and letting him bleed to death with that Culey wanted Lennie to have a painful death unlike his wife 's death quick and fast. Although George had no Choice but to kill Lennie, he got to hear about the rabbits one more time so it was better to have your best friend kill you the some womans husband that just wants you to suffer.
Was George justified in killing Lennie my personal opinion is gorge was wrong and it wasn't right for him to kill him or so called euthanasia lennie was his best friend who hes lived with thru thick and thin thru the rough times and the good times and they weren't just friends but one almost completed the other to where they were whole they were to me almost life partners in a weird kind of way Some causes of why George killing Lennie could be considered wright are due to lennie strangling curley's wife he was already going to jail any way therefore he wasn't going to be free anymore anyway also he hurt everything he touched for example the puppy that Carlson gave him he choked it to tight curley's hand he squeezed it so tight it almost killed
In what situation would it be okay to kill your best friend? Even if you were trying to help them would it still justify murder? Although it violates God's law and Man's law could it still be seen as a justifiable choice. A man named George was given this hard decision. George was a short man who traveled with an abnormally large man with the heart of a child who went by Lennie.
Another reason is that Lennie couldn’t survive with George telling him what and what not to do. The last reason is that if George didn’t kill Lennie, Curly would painfully kill him. Being dangerous for the people around and to himself is more than enough reason kill him. Lennie can’t control his strength, or himself.

Lennie´s mental disabilities and psychotic tendencies prevented him from acting like a human. Someone that kills people certainly does not fit in society, especially if that person is mentally disabled and does not control his actions. Lennie only needed hair to kill an innocent woman. Along his life, he would run into several women with long hair, making every woman with long hair and a dress in danger.
Lennie does not know any better when he does wrong. He just does whatever George tells him to, and George was not there to tell Lennie that hurting the girl was wrong. George should not have killed Lennie because they were best friends. They have been together for a long time and George killed him. George should not have

Curley used this as an excuse to kill Lennie. He really wanted to kill Lennie because he destroyed his hand though. Curley said he was going to blow Lennie's guts out and make him suffer and be in pain. George prevented this by shooting Lennie in the back of the head and ending him quickly. George does not do the right thing, because how does killing a person who killed a person show that killing is wrong, in which it doesn’t. If they would have taken Lennie to jail, he probably would have been placed into a mental institute, where they would have help Lennie with his mental disorder and give him the help he actually needed. Lennie with his simple mind, always gets into trouble. This time, Lennie gets himself in a bind once again, that George can’t save him from. George decision to kill Lennie in the story, was due to his responsibility, sympathy, and love for Lennie. George’s decision to kill Lennie was out of sympathy for him.
George killing Lennie is justified. Lennie was either gonna get killed by the other men or George. The other men were only doing it because they hated Lennie, George would have done it for the sake of Lennie’s safety and mental state. George would have felt guilty if he did not handle it himself. One reason George was justified in killing Lennie was that George had realized Lennie would never get better and their dream would never come true.
