Islam spread within a span of 100 years. In 610, Muhammad made a visit to a cave on Mount Hira to pray. This experience changed his life and he realized that Allah was the one true god. After receiving Allah's words for two years, Muhammad decided it was time to talk. Soon Muhammad's teachings, called Islam, reached Europe, North Africa, and Asia. The question is, why exactly did the submission to Allah spread so quickly? Islam spread very quickly because of conquest, trade, migration, and most importantly religious ways.

Also in document F, It *talks about the battle against the Hins. The muslims defeated them and this made the muslims very powerful. Their religion soon became very popular. This shows that by being powerful and gaining conquest, your religion will spread throughout everywhere you take control of. Overall, conquest can lead new people to Islam.
Another reason Islam spread quickly is trade. Trade was happening all throughout Arabia, Persia, and the Byzantine empire. In document A, *a map shows the spread of trade throughout the two empires. It says, *“Mecca was prosperous and important. First, it was at the crossroads of the lucrative caravan trade.” This illustrates that Mecca was the center of everything and Islam was in Mecca. Since Mecca was very important in trade and they traded with such a big area, this made the religion of Islam start to travel to other areas through trade.
One other key point, is that Islam spread through migration. Migration is when someone or something moves from one place to another. In document C, *a map shows the spread of Islam through military campaigns. The military is moving, or migration to new lands. They covered all the land from the Nile to the black sea, and to the Indus river. With the migration of the military the religion of Islam began to spread. The people shared the religion and the followers were very devoted. This displays that that Muhammad’s followers shared the religion through migration to a large
