The 1920’s roared for both positive and negative reasons. The 1920’s roared in many positive ways. Some ways include, flappers, the Model T Ford, the Harlem Renaissance and the advancement of African Americans, and the 19th Amendment. One important aspect of the 1920’s are flappers. Flappers were young women who wanted independence from their normal expectations. They stayed out all night dancing things like the Charleston and drinking in speakeasies. The Model T Ford revolutionized the transportation industry. The assembly line developed by Henry Ford, caused time creating cars to drastically decrease driving costs to unprecedented low levels.
