World war 1 was disastrous; also, the governments came together after the war to create a league. The league of nations came into control to stop new wars from happening after World War 1. The league of nations imposed the treaty of Versailles. The treaty came into place to unite all parties involved in the war; in fact, the parties included the allied powers and the central powers. The league of nations mostly blamed Germany for the cause of World War 1 and wanted Germany to be held responsible for their crimes. The German’s were furious about their punishment; the German’s were to pay back all the debts and damages they have caused other countries. The various provision of Germany will damage Germany’s economy by leaving Germany in debt. For example, Germany would not be able to provide resources for their civilians. Woodrow Wilson invited France, Great Britain, and Italy to come together with the leaders of the world. Wilson thought by bringing the countries together; it would prevent the countries from going against each other. Wilson planned to get the countries to come together by signing the treaty of Versailles; in addition, it involved all the countries being held responsible for their damage. The down side about the league of nations was that Germany was not invited to join the league. All the nations were against Germany; in that being, Wilson warned the league that the treatment being done to Germany will lead to another War. In Germany’s view the countries would have been supported by Germany if they allowed Germany in the league and treated Germany with a fair trial.
