There were many reasons why the Roman empire collapsed. Rome’s empire was in parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa. In 117 CE, Rome was the strongest empire in the world. The empire didn’t exist a few centuries later. The Roman empire collapsed because the population decreased, too many emperors were assassinated, and Rome was too big.
Rome was a leader in the Ancient World. It accomplished many achievements during its reign. Romans formed a new system of government,and expanded their empire. Though the Roman empire was great they eventually fell because of three reasons , military mistakes, economic and civic decay, and political instability. These issues were caused by many factors such as an idle attitude, greediness, and natural disasters.
The Western Roman empire fell in 476 C.E.. The Roman Empire lasted nearly 500 years. Before the fall of the Western Empire, Constantine split the Roman Empire into two parts, west and east.
