Wall Street was the center of American finance, people began to invest in stocks and later fell in love with the stock exchange.
In 1929, a major collapse of the exchange market occurred. Investors first took a lot of money to play the stock market, but later the market crashed, many went bankrupt, the banks collapsed. The state did not do anything to help the collapse of the country's financial situation. The crisis undermined the confidence of Americans, the fragile banking system consisting of 1,000 small banks, lacked the resources or reputation to convince the client that his money was safe. In 1931 more than 2000 banks went bankrupt, in America there was poverty around.
