World War 2 was a deadly war. In world war 2 they estimate that between 50 to 80 million people died in the war. Also, there were multiple countries involved in the war. There was a set of countries called allies and a set of countries called axis. Allies were the side America was on and all of the countries going against them were on the axis. There was a lot of famous commanders in this war such as Adolf hitler, Harry S Truman, and Winston Churchill. Some other facts such as were it took place at is Europe, Russia, Africa, and Asia. There were many countries involved such as America, Germany, Japan, Italy, France. Next topic will be on the reasons the war started.
Some reasons for why the war started. The main reason it started was that Germans invaded Poland for no reason. After that Britain and France declared war on Germany. As the fighting kept on happen more and more countries joined each side of the war. Also, there was a lot of growth taking place at this time and people needed land. Europe and Asia were the main battlegrounds for the war. Japan, Germany and Italy were all fighting against multiple over countries sometimes maybe more than five or six at a time. Most of the time the war would take place on many country’s that were on the border of each other. This happened because that is where each side came from. They also did this because each side could get more supplies from their allies or country if they needed it. Also, many battles took place over seas not many or any took place in America besides Pearl Harbor. The Japanese had a surprise attack on America.
