Back in the old days, teenagers took summers off from school because they had to work in the fields 24/7. Nowadays, teenagers spend a lot of time doing nothing, playing video games, or hanging out with their friends. Some high schoolers have become very lazy and very spoiled. There are many people who believe that teens getting jobs could help remedy this. High school students should get jobs because getting a job promotes a good work ethic, helps students learn responsibility, and can help students in the financial area. For one example, high school students should get jobs because having a job promotes a good work ethic. Having a good work ethic can motivate students to complete and excel on their homework, something which will help them after high school, in college opportunities, and in job opportunities. A good work ethic also helps students to make a good impression on their bosses, and can help them make good friends with their coworkers. Not only will it help students make good impressions, but it also assists in teaching students to keep their job/excel at their job.
