There has been recent criticisms about the NBA allowing Players to sit out of games. Many NBA Players especially LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were sitting out of games, even when healthy. Many NBA fans are furious because they spent money on tickets, but they can’t even see NBA stars perform. As some say, it is destroying the advertisement that the NBA is trying to provide for basketball fans. The NBA is not only a professional sports league, but it is also a business. When LeBron James was asked about NBA Players sitting out of games, he responded by saying “I don 't think the NBA can do anything about it. At the end of the day, it sucks at times where certain guys have to rest, but certain guys need rest. And it 's a long, strenuous season and the NBA does a great job of putting the schedule together as best as they can. You 're …show more content…

The regular season is almost over and players should prepare for the postseason. I understand NBA Players are ruining the advertisement of what the NBA is trying to provide, but the NBA Playoffs is an even bigger advertisement for NBA fans. Teams are in competition to win NBA Championships and resting their Star Players would avoid injuries, so that they could be effective in NBA Playoffs. Once that playoff spot is secured, the coaches should rest their players and give the 3rd or 2nd Unit opportunity to showcase their skills. As stated earlier in this paragraph, NBA Stars should avoid getting injured. For example, If a particular NBA Player such as LeBron James or Isaiah Thomas suffer an injury when the Playoffs began, then the advertisements wouldn 't be too great because fans can easy predict the winner of each series. Having the NBA Players to be healthy could increase the efficiency of the advertisements, then NBA fans would be happy.
