A nerf gun is a toy gun made out of plastic that shoots out foam darts that kids can use to play with outside. There are many types of them like the mega ones and the elite guns - the difference between the two are the mega ones shoot bigger darts than the elite ones, and the elite guns shoot smaller darts. There are some guns that are automatic, semi-automatic and manual. Nerf is very popular with kids for many reasons and some of these reasons are for social reasons, hand eye coordination, and their health benefits.
