It is developing as a platform for social, informational, and political activities like creating awareness about the running politicians. Some of the sites widely used in politics are Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook. Initially, the use of the televisions, radios, and telephone calling were prevalent in political campaigns, but the advancement of technology has introduced social media which is preferable nowadays. The social media network target various audiences and make use of different tools that allow them to share information, videos, and links among others. Social media is a visible environment that provides the political leaders with the ideal platform to promote themselves, articulate their policy goals, and interact with voters directly and without being filtered by the media. Communication is an important aspect in political campaigning which helps the leaders to pass their message and rally their support.
