The witches in Macbeth are seen as mysterious creatures putting thoughts in his head and bringing out the true evil in Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. “When shall we three meet again” says the first witch in act 1 scene 1. In act 1 scene 3 the three witches greet macbeth as “Thane of Glamis” (as he is), “Thane of Cawdor”, and “king hereafter.” They then promise Banquo that he will father kings, then the three witches disappear. This information that the witches gave Macbeth poisned his mind making him greedy, and bringing out the true evil in Macbeths soul. Macbeth like a good spouse tells Lady Macbeth everything about what the witches said, Including the prophecy. When they tell MacBeth this they intentionally put thoughts inside of his head to make him to unthinkable acts in order to get the future the witches had told him. MacBeth would not have done many of the things he did in the play if it was not for the witches telling him he is going to be King, if the whitches had have left it up to fate and not bring out the true evil and turn MacBeth into a monster. Due to the Whitches telling Macbeth his own future it cause a domino effect and created more problems like, Lady Macbeth finding out about what the witches had told Macbeth then manpulating and praying on Macbeths Manhood to get him to murder Duncan. Due to Macbeth murdering Duncan it cause him to suffer from paronia and many other mental disorders causing him to continue making unthinkable actions like murding Banquo and trying to Murder his sons, it also caused Lady Macbeth to take her own life. Due to the witches telling Macbeth about his future it controlled and determined they events of the play from causing Macbeth to become greedy and having Lady Macbeth find out about the interaction causing her to show her true colours. Lastly, the play was controlled by the witches from the very beginning and every single event that happend in the play the witches had planned and they alreacdy knew it was going to happen therefore that is how they always seemed to know the right thing to say to Macbeth and they always said it out the right time.
