Astro-lies Astrology supposedly tells the future according to astrologers. People depend on astrology but, should they truly depend on it? Very few people look in to astrology to see if they should depend on their horoscopes every day. Astrology is the study of space in which to some people is an abnormal topic. Not all astrologers believe that astrology is a fact. This is unusually uncommon in science, because generally all scientist are on the same side or support some arguments and points made in their research . The reason behind why astrology is such a rule breaker is that it is not entirely scientific and efficient for use. Astrologers can go their entire career and not publish any of their work or share their findings at a scientific meeting. Even when astrologers publish articles they aren’t usually get reviewed or publish in places where they will be judged or critiqued by other astrologers in the community. Astrologers don’t tend to publish about astrology because the studies with astrology have failed to prove the truth of astrological ideas. These facts are why there isn’t any cases that help prove astrology is scientific. Along with no cases proving astrology is scientific, astrologers don’t try to prove that astrology is a fact. Instead they just accept the astrological ideas that have already been found. They show this by “rarely trying to test their arguments in fair ways.”(3) The astrology community also ignores scientific evidence that disproves their ideas. Astrologers need to start trying to figure out more facts about astrology instead of letting the older work forever be credited. They need to start showing that they can do better than the older work or that they can make astrology easier to understand for more simple minded
