It is important to research jobs because maybe you want a certain job and you want to know how much it pays and where its located. It is important because maybe you want to see if its gonna be a good job and look at the hours. The jobs I am wanting to do is a mechanic and a marine. I chose the Marines because I have been interested in the marines since i was in elementary and because i like guns. I chose the mechanics because my dad works on cars and i am interested in working on cars.

The things you during the day as a mechanic is you work on cars and trucks. You can take apart machinery or equipment to make repairs. You have to repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts of machinery or equipment. As a mechanic you can put equipment back together after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. You have to examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear. You have to repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
The skills you have to have is you have to have knowledge of machines. You have to know how to use a tool and what to use it on. You have to know the designs of the tools or names. You have to be able to repair vehicles. You have to know how to maintain a vehicle. (nationalgaurd.com)
The schooling you have to have to be a mechanic is a high school diploma or equivalent. Some employers prefer those who have completed some postsecondary training. Another requirement is an optional ASE certification. There are high schools that offer training programs for students who do want to be a mechanic. Most mechanics are expected to have a associate degree or certificate program in automotive technology training.
