Once we reach a certain age, everyone gets asked the question, what do you want to do when you grow up? I became interested in the field of nursing when I was a young kid because I helped my family take care of my great-grandmother. I am interested in understanding why people get sick and how to help them get better faster. I think nursing is an important issue because people will always get sick and die. Becoming a Nurse practitioner is my dream career because wanting to help people is part of my personality, I have hands-on experience with skills I will need and there are many career opportunities that offer great pay.
Professionals in the field of nursing have to have great communication skills in order to perform their job to the best of their ability.
