When I was growing up it was unclear on what I wanted to be. Throughout time, though, I have it clear that I want to help people not matter their situation. I’m studying to become a Physician Assistant (PA). I decided to study PA because I struggle to survive when I was little and from where I come from no one, it’s help anyone because there is no medical help in the area. With this career, I want to take it not just locally but also globally.
According to (Bureau of labor statistic), physician assistant is medical providers who are licensed to diagnose and treat illness and disease and prescribe medication to the patient. Physician assistants typically need a master’s degree from an accredited educational program. Earning that degree usually takes at least 2 years of full-time postgraduate study. Most applicants to physician assistant education programs already have a bachelor’s degree and some healthcare- experience. Well, all you need is to go to a four-year college that it's accredited to the program. Get your Bachelor Degree, after that have some hours done as a Medical assistant, Emergency medical technician (EMT), Lab assistant/ Phlebotomist or certified nursing assistant this will help you have some health care experience because without that you won’t be able to get into PA school and get your Master’s Degree. Some PA schools take up to 2 to 3 years depends on the state you live and want to practice becoming one. They include classroom instruction and clinical rotation. You’ll also complete more than 2,000 hours of clinical rotations, with an emphasis on primary care in ambulatory clinics, physician offices, and acute or long-term care facilities.
