Personally, I would choose Thomas Jefferson as he seemed to be a master of several trades. Other than being well known as the third U.S. president and as the author of the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson mastered many disciplines, which ranged from surveying and mathematics to horticulture and mechanics. Jefferson had a keen interest in religion and philosophy which earned him the presidency of the American Philosophical Society, was well versed in linguistics and spoke several languages, founded the University of Virginia, and was a prolific letter writer. As an architect, Jefferson departed from the Georgian style of the day.

I would do this because everyone living in the United States of America needs to feel safe; In my plan, all families who entered the United States in an illegal fashion would be assigned a social worker to help walk them through a more simplified, smooth version of the Pathway to Citizenship. Behind the social worker would be a small party of two workers; one whose profession would be to administer background checks to all the adults in the group of illegal immigrants, and one whose job would be to educate the adults in the ways of the American government and teach all of them immigrants. If for any reason one of the adults in the group was not upholding their part of the deal (not paying their taxes, not trying to learn English, not trying to learn about the American government system, failing the citizenship test on English and American government) then the adult at blame would be sent back to his or her own country, along with his or her spouse and children. However, if any one of the children is 18 years of age or older, and have been fulfilling their duties in order to become a citizen, they would be given the opportunity to stay on their
National Honor Society is a great opportunity for me. I heard that there is a lot of people who have good leadership and provide awesome ideas in national Honor Society. I would like to be member of this, acquire a great experience, and share my ideas to contribute volunteer, donations and so on. I love to see people are happy when I help them. joining NHS would allow to me grow as a person and provide me a way to go a great future.
Middle school is a very different time, a time to start discovering yourself. Many people figure out what makes them truly happy, or what they want to do with their life during this time. It’s also the road to high school, the last stop of your standard American education. I currently live in El Paso, TX, which happens to be on the opposite side of the country from the majority of my extended family. My aunts, uncles, and grandparents all live along the east coast and some even live in Virginia. It would be wonderful to live closer to family, but even if that weren’t the case, it would still be my top pick.

Why do I want to attend college? College is an honorary achievement and it separates the determined from the undetermined. Owning a college to degree is an honor and an ecstatic feeling. Through college, that job is that much closer in the grasp. Through college, a person can perform at an elite level and really push themselves for greatness.
Doing what I love and being able to support myself and loved ones is important to me. I am a very independent person and I like to do things my way. I like to set individual goals everyday, whether that means doing my homework before a certain time, or completing something for the week. They help me get my work done on time and efficiently.
According to Google maps, right now it would take me only thirty-six minutes to get to Georgetown. But I do not need Google maps, I know how to get there like the back of my hand. I essentially I grew up in Georgetown. I was born at Georgetown University’s hospital (along with two other screaming baby girls minutes after me, aka my triplets). I used to drive every day with my family to Georgetown’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center for my mother’s cancer treatment for four years and I still continue to visit her old nurses and doctors today.
Why I should be president Name Professor Course Date I believe I should be the president because I have an exemplary character and I can be trusted as I am always honest and respectful. Being respectful means I am willing to listen to others and assist them resolve the issues they are facing. The ability to cooperate with others is also another trait that makes me fit to be the president. Moreover, I am humble, courageous, and focused.
Living in hope, with our beliefs, and with little expectation of others is the way forward. My parents, simple and honest human beings, have high expectations of me, wishing that I too, like them, grew up to be an honorable person. Martin Luther King’s life inspires the determined and I agree that to give up on life or stop is deplorable. Irrespective of the hurdles, to push ahead with all one’s might is the only way to succeed. Living this philosophy, my father, a genuine rags to riches story, altered my life, leading by example and encouraging me to follow the path of righteousness.
The tiny humans, who advocates for them when they are ill? Who stands up for them when no adult is around to speak for them? A pediatric surgeons job is not only to treat their patient's illness but to advocate for the children who are too small to stand up for themselves. The way to make the world a better place is to begin with yourself. A method in which I will contribute to society and make an impact by becoming a pediatric surgeon.
