There are people in America that worry about not getting accepted by others, which they focus on that feeling too much. It is hard for a person to forget about what other people are saying about you. It happens too often in America, plus it will take time to stop it, but when we all work towards it, we can eventually stop having to worry about this. I am fortunate to live in a community that this doesn’t occur in often, but there are still cities around America this is a major concern.
Refugees from other countries are looked down upon. They are already coming from a country that isn’t as developed as ours. Also, it is hard for them to begin a new life. Everyone has the right to be safe, while feeling safe. American citizens aren’t doing all that they can to help them. Yes, there are countries that have done terrible things in the past, but that doesn’t mean that all the citizens from that country should be judged horribly because of that. The refugees from the other countries are already coming from a hard place, furthermore in the America I believe in, we should be kind enough try to lend them a helping hand when they need.

We don’t have a lot of that in the United States right now, while we should try to work towards peace. It may be hard in the beginning, but if people can remember that we are alike in a way, we don’t have to fight each other, we can come together, and become one. Citizens can achieve peace after neighboring communities don’t try to make war on each other, instead they can find a way to accept each other for themselves.
The America we live in won’t change on its own, we have to act up in order for that to happen. If we work together, we can achieve the aspects that we are missing - peace with acceptance. I know that the America I believe in is somewhere, we just have to find it within our
