An abortions is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, where an infant has not been given the chance to be born. In 2014, 652,639 legal induced abortions were reported to CDC from 49 reporting areas. Even though this number is significantly large this is the all time low for abortions in the United States. Abortion clinics have been closing due to abortion rates going down and vice versa. A problem in the U.S. is how accepted it is to have sex with anyone at any time. The abortion rates have been falling dramatically due to abortion clinics closing. The thousands of women who go in for an abortion each year are putting themselves at risk. Abortions can also put the women who is in the procedures health at risk. The women can also get post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, low self-esteem, or anxiety. It can also lead the woman into abusing drug, tobacco, or alcohol use. Even though the chances of these things happening to the woman are very low, it is still a danger of abortion.
