Green Arrow is a Marvel superhero who was given an objective from his father upon his father’s death. This objective was to eliminate the evil in his home city of Star City. This would be no doubt would be an act of justice; however, he decided that the best way to eliminate the evil was to quite literally eliminate the people who were evil. This made people hate this hero who was just trying to achieve justice. This in turn created the dilemma, “Was Green Arrow being just?” While Antigone, from Sophocles’ Antigone, wasn’t going around killing people the question still arises if Antigone acted in a just manner. She just wanted her brother to be respected. She wanted to give her brother a funeral that he should have gotten from his family and from his city.She wasn’t like Marc Antony who parade Caesar's body around trying to start a revolution, from William Shakespeare’s Tragedy of Julius Caesar. In this play, a group of people who did not like Caesar being the lone ruler of the Roman Empire killed Julius Caesar and attempted to take the Roman throne. They of course would not want anyone dealing with his body. However, Marc Antony, an aid of Caesar, paraded Caesar’s body around in an effort to start a rebellion against the murderers, but Antigone did none of that. She just wanted her brother to be shown the respect he deserved. She wanted to show that even though no one else cared that he was still loved. She loved him so much that even though she could be killed for it she performed all of the rituals that were supposed to be done to a dead body. She even did it a second time after the body got dug up the first time. Antigone was not trying to go around breaking laws. She had a very just reason to do it.
