Donald J. Trump is a controversial, although famous, individual. He first earned a name for himself as a businessman, building himself a real estate empire. After he had become successful in business, he began to be noticed by the media. Because of his wealthy background and lifestyle, larger-than-life presence, and supermodel wives, Trump became a worldwide celebrity. Trump was born to Frederick "Fred" Trump and Mary Anne Trump on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York City. He was the fourth of five children. Fred Trump led his household very much like a corporation and raised his children like favored employees. Donald Trump recalls a story about his childhood in which his father made them work for what they wanted but also raised them in luxury. Trump and his brother worked a paper route, but one day it was raining, so his father sent them out to deliver papers in a chauffeured limousine (D' Antonio, 2016, p. 39). Both men knew who to bribe in each situation and what exactly to give them to get what they needed. As Trump built on his father's business with his own success, he became increasingly more wealthy and famous.
