Why Is Freedom Still Important Today?

Freedom, a privilege you get to do what you desire to do, but still following the law. There are plenty of freedoms in today’s generation that were not available in generations before today. You can obtain freedom in several ways, for example you can earn freedom or win freedom either way. Do you feel like you have numerous amounts of freedom wherever you go?
Freedom is expressed in many items such as multiple amendments. 13th Amendment gives slaves the freedom to not be slaves anymore, 14th Amendment offers equal protection to African Americans, 15th Amendment provides the right to vote for African American males. 19th Amendment presents women the right to vote, and the 24th Amendment outlaws taxes for voting polls. Another item is religion, speech, voting, women 's rights, races, and slavery. These are all examples of ways freedom is expressed. In generations when slavery was popular, there were zilch amounts of freedoms for the slaves. Slaves would be forced to do cruel jobs and they would work so much they would have an extremely high risk of death. No freedom for slaves back then resulted in death for most. Today’s generation slaves aren’t used anymore, which means freedom was granted to the slaves between the 1800s and the 20th century! Races, people would judge different races that weren’t white back in the early 1900s and even before then. African Americans, and Hispanics were a few of the different races that were judged. Historical people such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks were involved during the time of different races being a problem. The 4th and 15th Amendment go over the freedoms for different races. Jobs, schools, and even communication are all freedoms for the different races. Women back in the 1700s and 1800s were not
