This event started a killing spree that stretched potentially 19 grueling years. The very next day Ridgway kills Wendy Coffield a runaway teen. About one month later Debra Estes reported a man in a blue and white pickup truck who offered the girl a lift but then brandished a pistol and forced her to pleasure him sexually.

The serial killer I chose is Albert Fish. Hamilton “Albert” Fish was born on May 19, 1870 in Washington D.C. to Randall and Ellen Fish. His father died of a heart attack when Albert was five. After, his mother put him and his three siblings in an orphanage so she could work. While living in the orphanage Fish experienced and watched brutal beatings, which soon helped him discover he enjoyed physical pain and began his obsession with sadomasochism.
Hamilton Howard “Albert” Fish was born on May 19th, 1870 in Washington, D.C., to Ellen and Randall Fish (Berry-Dee, 2011). Hamilton was the youngest member of the Fish family that consisted of three other children (Walter, Annie, and Edwin) (Berry-Dee, 2011). Hamilton’s farther was 43 years older than his mother and was 75 years old during the time of his birth. Randall died of a myocardial infraction when Hamilton was just 5, leaving Ellen to support the entire family on her own (Berry-Dee, 2011).

Ted Bundy was a notorious serial murderer who’s reign of terror lasted from 1974 to 1978. Bundy was convicted of three homicides and was sentenced to death for all three charges. However, at the time of his execution, Bundy confessed to 30 murders however the exact number of victims is still unknown. Bundy’s crimes evolved over time but he was both a sexual sadist and a necrophiliac serial killer. At the beginning of his rampage, Bundy would sneak into the victims house in the middle of the night, violently attack them while they were sleeping with a blunt object and then Bundy would usually sexually assault them.
