Subsequently, the leagues again sued the Governor of Delaware, but their contention was that the new types of wagers violated federal laws established in 1992. As a matter of fact, the sports leagues were right and Delaware is currently restricted to offering the same limited form of gambling that they featured in 1976. On the bright side for Delaware, their sports lottery has been profitable decision this time around as they’ve outsourced their operations to a Las Vegas sportsbook, Brandywine Bookmaking. The Delaware sports lottery is offered at the horse tracks and casinos in their state, in addition to some bars and restaurants. I believe that they should race but have more restrictions on how the mushers handle the dogs and use them. Some restrictions should be on how they treat their dogs, I think they should sign up for the race a year in advance and have inspectors come once –a-month to check on the dogs and make sure they are being handle correctly. I would also want the mushers to be sent to training to be able to tell if the dogs are hurt when the race is going on so they can get help. I would also like to see there be ATV’s that follow along to help any hurt dogs or dogs that might be
When many people think about Pit Bulls, they often get scared and want nothing to do with them. Pit Bulls are viewed as dangerous and scary. The truth behind this is that Pit Bulls are only as harmful and scary as you make them. For these animals life is pretty tough, from getting banned to getting put into the ring to fight. These animals should be treated the same way any other animal would be treated, with love and compassion.

Pit bulls should not be banned as breed specific legislation is not an effective way to address issues related to dog behaviour and safety. First off, not all pit bulls are aggressive, it's important to remember that a breed alone can not determine a dogs behaviour, but their situations can make them frustrated and scared, which can make them seem aggressive. Pit bulls are loving, loyal and friendly pets when raised and trained properly. Banning an entire breed based on stereotypes and misconceptions is unfair to many well-behaved pit bulls and responsible owners. Dogs don't come into the word aggressive, it's the owners responsibility to raise and train their dogs to behave orderly.

Living as an animal in the racing industry is difficult exhausting. From endless suffering and injuries, being injected and digesting illegal pills, and if you fail you are thrown out of the industry and killed for multiple usages. Due to the Kentucky Derby being covered on national television, people began to see that horse racing isn’t all glamour. After mourning the loss of many young horses, I have come to the conclusion that the horse racing industry is corrupt. When working with horses, the number one priority should be the safety of the horse, but in the racing industry, it is winning.
In Indiana alone, around 9,221 jobs were produced by both the racing and breeding business along with $207 million in economic impact for the state (purdue). Outlawing horse racing in just one state could have a negative effect on the economy and rob almost 10,000 people of jobs. It is estimated that the horse industry provides $39 billion to the United States economy and approximately 1.4 million full-time jobs (purdue). Not only do Americans enjoy watching the sport of horse racing, but some of their livelihoods depend on it. Owners of racehorses would not be the only ones affected; breeders, veterinarians, and stable workers would all endure the consequences if the industry was shut
