Hamlet, a play written around 1600 by William Shakespeare, talks about a depressed prince named Hamlet from Denmark. Hamlet was studying in Germany, when he had to upon his father’s death return to Denmark to attend his funeral. Once in Denmark Hamlet was surprised to learn that his mother Gertrude got married to his uncle Claudius, his father’s brother in such short notice. Hamlet did not take this wedding lightly and considered it to be “foul incest”. He was deeply hurt by his mother’s betrayal. Shortly after Claudius became the new king. But stasis in the kingdom did not last very long it was disrupted by the appearance of a Ghost that looks exactly like Hamlet’s father.
