I am constantly tired, everyone seems like they’re out to get me, I’m always hungry, i can't keep up in school, I don’t know what I want to do with my life, my whole world is falling apart. This has been going on for around two years for me. Three years for people one year older than me and 1 year for people that are one year younger than me. I am talking about puberty. Everyone has to go through it. Black or white, rich or poor, boy or girl. It's a part of everyone’s life. All Jackie Robinson’s values are essential for making it not only through puberty but once your out of it you thrive. The three most important of his values to stay true too are determination, integrity, and courage. Determination is important to have in this time of your life and beyond. It is important because if you can be determined in your everyday life you will be successful. If you are not determined to do good in a class then you will fail that class. If you are not determined to do good in a sport than you will waste yours and your coaches time. This relates back to Jackie Robinson because if he wasn’t determined to be the best baseball player and person in general he could be he would not have been able to open the door for African-Americans that he did.
