Dr.Martin Luther king
“We may have come in different ships, but we are in the same boat now.”(Martin Luther King) From the beginning of time, to the 20th century, racial injustice is still a problem. Around the world, people of color has been treat unfairly due to social class. Many people tried to fight against these causes, and bring civil right to those who were treated unfairly. When people ask you who is a “civil right activist”, the person that first appears in your brain is probably Martin Luther King. This amazing man was so famous because, he was an inspiration to many people, provide non-violent social changes, and brought people together for a long journey for peace.
King was such an inspiration because he help all people of color to gain civil rights. When he help out people he didn’t just think about himself, but all the people that are of color around him. He wanted a world with peace, and no segregation. He wanted boys and girls of all colors to be brothers and sister and be like people like today, just as his quote says “I have a dream that one day right there in Alabama little black boys and little black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.” (Martin …show more content…

King brought people together to fight for peace by giving his life and love for all of us. He died for the cause to bring equality to all citizens (RFK on MLK). He has fought for equality regards race and color, he emphasised the importance of non- violent protests, and become a civil right activist leader to fight for civil liberties ( What did Martin Luther King do to progress civil right movement). “Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his life for the poor of the world, the garbage workers of Memphis and the peasants of Vietnam. The day that Negro people and others in bondage are truly free, on the day want is abolished, on the day wars are no more, on that day I know my husband will rest in a long-deserved peace” (Coretta
