Why Is Money Important In Huck Finn

In the book Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, Money is a big issue to some of the characters, but some of the characters don’t really care about money. Some characters loves money more than friends and family. I am going to write about how money can help some characters and how some characters don’t really care about how much money they have. Money is something that some people do not care about, but to others money is everything.
Huck is a very interesting character in many aspects. Huck Finn is pretty rich even though he did not come from a wealthy family. Huck inherited over 6,000 dollars from Tom Sawyer. Huck does not really care about his money. He does not want his pap to know that he has some money, because his dad is a drunk. His father would do anything just to get more whiskey. "Yes, he's got a father, but you can't never find him these days. He used to lay drunk with the hogs in the tanyard, but he hain't been seen in these parts for a year or more" (6). So King and duke pretend to be the Wilk brothers so they get the money. When the “real” Wilk brothers show up, the people said that the Wilk brothers are already here. So then they do a handwriting test and they see the tattoo and it shows that the King and Duke are not the Wilk brothers. King and Duke run away then go to the raft and Jim and Huck Finn are there.
In Adventures of Huckleberry Finn you realize the impact that money can have on some people. Huck does not care about money, but he just does not want his dad to have money for alcohol. Jim just wants his family back. Then King and Duke just want to steal money. Monet can impact people in different ways. You just need to see different
