While the Greeks admired combat proficiency during the Trojan war, they particularly favored the use of clever tactics, that involved strategic effective ways of winning the war against the Trojans. The hero to accomplish this is, no other than Odysseus. Known as the great tactician, and known for his outspoken, eloquence. He ultimately, represented the Greek value of being an intelligent individual in society. In addition to his perspicacious mind, he also offered his strengths on the battlefield with the Greeks. Probably, second in importance to Achilles, Odysseus was immensely, appreciated by the Greeks for his knowledge, and his clever wit that served him well enough for the Greeks to trust his natural instincts and advice.
