Convincing the British In 1860 Sir Syed had written “The Faithful Mohammedans of India”. In this perform he protected Muslims and listed the name of those Muslims who stayed Faithful to the British during the rebellion. In to persuade that the British were wrong to fully fault the Muslims for the rebellion so he had written a brochure “Essay on the Causes of the Native indian Revolt”. In this he indicated the reasons for the rebellion. He informed that British were unable to understand the Indians. This Pamphlet was distributed easily among the British authorities in Native indian and the duplicates were also sent to Britain were it was analyzed carefully. Many British believed that he was accusing them for rebellion but others supportive and approved the truth in his words. Sir Syed desired Muslims to stay away from Democracy as the Muslims were in unprivileged in
India and every selection would be won by the Hindus. A further cause of concern to Syed Ahmed was the “Hindi-Urdu Controversy”. In 1867 the Hindus required that Hindi should be the next formal terminology. The Muslims were hit both this as Urdu had special set up their minds and hearts. This was another factor directing him towards his two nation concept. Hindi-Urdu Controversy Hindi-Urdu Debate was began in 1867.
