In the great Gatsby there is a man who was basically narrating what his father told him when he was younger which was “Whenever you feel like criticizing anyone just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had” he explains that he actually understood more than what his father was actually implying. Quick was to reserve judgment and you shouldn't judge people by what you hear or see. Later on when he gets older he moves to New York and he meets the great gatsby and he basically forgets what his father told him and he judges him right away. After meeting the great Gatsby he goes to meet daisy tom his cousin and her husband and he asks them more about the great Gatsby and they give him more detail about him. He soon …show more content…

Soon Gatsby and nick became friends that would meet everyday and talk. At one point Gatsby and daisy sneak off without anyone noticing. Soon daisy and the Gatsby fall for each other but her husband tom kind of figured out what was going on between them. After spending a night with that Gatsby they all return home to see that their home has been flipped upside down by gang members looking for cigarettes and money, daisy and tom get worried that maybe they weren't just looking for that so they leave on a “vacation”. Later on the gatsbys brother was killed and his father was trying to figure out where to bury him and Gatsby said up east because that was where they had the best memories.at the funeral there were only a few people who attended. Tom had a mistress and she ends up getting hit and killed by a car and the Gatsby took the blame. After he takes the blame he fled town never to be seen again. I'm my opinion The Great Gatsby was a great book it had so many details, although there were some minor details that I feel should've been in there but all in all it was a really good
