The Hundred Years War was a significant contribution to the feudal system, and the way wars were fought in Europe. It was fought between England and France from the fourteenth to the fifteenth century. It not actually fought over the course of 100 years, but fought over the course of 116 years! Also, it was not just one war. It was really a series of smaller wars fought over the same reason, who would rule over the land. It may sound a little cliché, which it is, but once you think about how significant the war was, you might think differently.
