War can ruin a county no matter the winner. The amount of money it takes to fuel a war is incrediable. Most often leaving behind major amounts of debt and a county trying to find a way to get there money back. Due to the French and Indian War Britian was in debt and looking for a way to make up there debt quick. Unforconatly for the colonist of the new land this was ment for them.

All of time and all of history is built up of cause and effect events. These events shape our past, our present, and our future. One of the more significant events being that of the French and Indian War; and how it helped lead to the start of the American Revolutionary War. The French Indian War was very essential to the uprising of the revolution in many ways. First off, the debt of the French Indian War was the reason parliament started imposing taxes on the colonist in the first place.
It was basically the last major battle against Great Britain. A fact, before the war was fought a peace treaty was signed. The treaty of Ghent was signed on December 1814, but it did not reach the Americas until after the battle. The battle was not the reason why the war ended, but it was good for the US reputation. That Americans can function independently, and it enforced the idea of the US being able to hold their own.

These wars showed just how much Britain controlled the colonies, politically and economically. Britain raised taxes for the colonists, made more rules, and put more soldiers there. All these efforts by Britain just caused the colonists to rebel. This really raised the question of how much control Britain had over the colonists. The colonists ended up developing their own government, which only happened because the British rule refused to allow them to have any control, so their only choice was to rebel.
The War changed British/American relations forever. The War gave American’s a historical significance that we will never forget. There were many causes for the War of 1812 to happen. Around the 19th century Great Britain and France were locked in a rough conflict with Bonaparte. In the meantime, the U.S wasn’t only trading with Great Britain, but trading with France as well.
