Although there are many social welfare policies to choose from I think that the Social Security Act is the most important just based on the fact that is effects the lives of many people in society. The older retired members of society make up a large number and even though there are subcategories within that group, almost all are affected by the Social Security Act. Everyone who once contributed to Social Security should be entitled to receive that money back because that is why this particular act was put in place.
