Tolkien’s secondary world is unbelievably real. His world is only that real because he was consistent on the time, place, and fictional characters. Most of the places he made up could be in the real world. Just because you’re making up a fake world doesn’t mean that you have to make it all too fantastical to believe. It’s alright to have some consistency that complies with real world logic and reality.
