IV. Management Requirements
This section will provide detailed information on the current executive team, the organizational structure of the company, and new managerial requirements associated with expanding Pandora’s services by implementing the Mood Music feature. Before detailing management, organizational structure, and future requirements, a SWOT analysis of Pandora’s current organization will be discussed.
A) SWOT Analysis

Pandora Media, Inc. currently holds three registered trademarks preventing competitors from infringement upon Pandora’s brand name, slogan, and logo (LexisNexis, “Intellectual Property”). As the market grows, it provides improving opportunities for expansion and outreach for advertisements; thus, Pandora will be able to charge more for them. Also, as the market experiences consistent growth, lucrative partnerships with car makers and smartphone, tablet, and computer makers allows for further expansion of the user platform; the partnership opportunities does not end here.
These days, consumers can get their SmartTVs, Blu-ray players, home audio systems, and even refrigerators and kitchen appliances preloaded with Pandora Radio streaming capabilities (Leonard). Other opportunities involve expanding offered services by providing music videos and on-demand music listening. The Mood Music feature will provide Pandora with an incredible advantage over its competitors as the radio service will become more intuitive and even more personal. John Trimble serves as the Chief Revenue Officer of Pandora and is responsible for “all advertising revenue, strategic sales marketing, and advertising operations” (Corporate Governance Management). Finally, Tim Westergren, one of the founders, still serves the company by “guiding Pandora’s overall strategy and vision, [as well as] spends most of his time as Pandora’s chief evangelist” (Corporate Governance Management). Finally, overseeing Pandora’s international business in Australia and New Zeeland is the Managing Director of Australia and New Zeeland, Jane
