To make processed foods, raw ingredients are processed with machines or chemicals to change their texture, and taste and make them last longer. The process can include washing, grinding, mixing, heating, and adding chemicals to improve the taste, look, and shelf life.
How can we get people to eat more Whole Foods and how do people not know what goes into our food? We can get more people to eat Whole Foods by advertising the effects of processed foods and trying to lower their costs of them. That being said People are unaware of what happens in processed foods due to a lack of awareness.
I believe that many people don't know what goes on in our foods such as the processed foods in stores. Wendell Berry says that everyone should be educated as to what occurs to their foods before it is consumed. He believes that people should have more knowledge about what food we eat.
How can we stop people from buying processed foods?

I agree that people should grow their fruits and veggies because they will be organic. Some reasons are that whole foods have a higher nutritional value than processed foods. They aren’t typically rich in vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that our bodies need. Also, many processes are being stripped of their nutritional value during manufacturing and many contain added sugars, sodium, and unhealthy fats.
Eating Whole Foods may be beneficial for the environment as well as have a positive impact on the environment. People should grow their fruits and veggies because they will be organic and they aren't covered with pesticides like the ones that they sell at the store.
Many people find Whole Foods simply taste better than processed foods. This is because Whole Foods are often fresher and more flavorful than their processed counterparts. which can be loaded with preservatives and artificial flavors.
