Saudi Arabia should fix their laws about women. First, women should be allowed to drive. Second, they should have more rights regarding in government. Third, they should also be treated equally as men in public. Women can drive, so they should drive. A woman should be able to transport their children anywhere if their husband is working. For example, what if a female doesn’t have a male? How will she be able to transport anywhere without wasting money? Most taxis are pricey and treat the female disrespectfully. This is not just from my opinion. “The taxi drivers were always too costly and she also had to go out on the road to get one, sometimes the used to give dirty looks to her” (org 1). Though it doesn’t specifically say in the law that women can’t drive, they can’t get a driver 's license. There was a counter argument saying that it 's not safe for women to drive. But women disagrees because if men can drive, why can’t women? It’s dangerous for women to drive, but it’s dangerous for men to drive too. Sure, you might think women might react differently in car accidents, but men can drive just as bad. Even statistics show from all around the world that 61% of women drive better than men. Since most women are able to drive, in addition, they drive better than men, why did Saudi Arabia ban female driving? Is it just for taxi drivers to get wealthier? Women and men are both smart, independent, etc. Therefore, they should both be treated equally even in government.
