If they’re such good people why would Russia’s government ban them? Jehovah’s Witnesses are an “international organization unaffiliated with other religious groups”. They come from different backgrounds, cultures, and countries, yet they are united with one purpose to worship the God of the Bible, as stated in Psalms 83:18 which states “May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”. As Christians, they believe that Jesus is the son of God who came to earth and became the Messiah. They believe Bible principles may benefit us today that's why they try so hard to adhere to them for example, they do not practice drunkenness, sexual immorality, stealing, also the Bible condemns practices that alter our mind and bodies that is why they stay away from drugs or smoking (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
