Artwork and literature are good tools for historians studying about generalism during the Renaissance. Generalism is a person who is interested in many things and active in many field, those people are also known as the renaissance man. In document 3, the document illustrates many sketches of many subjects made by Leonardo da Vinci. In those sketches, it shows sketches of futuristic weapon (for that time), a flying machine, some sketches of human body and a beautiful picture of a bush with flowers. This sketches clearly shows Leonardo is dedicating himself into many different subjects.
Along with those artists came Leonardo da Vinci, the most significant Renaissance artist. Leonardo da Vinci was the most important Renaissance artist. In addition to the arts, da Vinci studied anatomy, botany, geology, zoology, hydraulics, aeronautics, physics, and architecture. The Renaissance period was a time of great revival for the arts and knowledge. Leonardo da Vinci was able to expand the fields of both the arts and the sciences during his lifetime, which is why da Vinci is considered a true "Renaissance Man", meaning a cultured man of the Renaissance who was knowledgeable, educated, or proficient in a wide range of fields. Firstly, Leonardo da Vinci lived a very interesting life. Born on the 15th of April,1452, in Vinci, Italy Leonardo da Vinci is thought of as the best example of a "Renaissance Man."

Leonardo Da Vinci technique had an interesting style of painting like sfumato and chiaroscuro which both interns make the artwork better than the middle ages and more professional. Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the most famous renaissance painters he is recognized for inventing two techniques which are sfumato which allows tones and colors to shade which is able to produce soften or hazy outlines no harsh outlines.
