The Korean peninsula is made up of north and south Korea. Korea was found in 2333 BC. Korea split in 1945 right after World War 2. Korea came to be two countries due to its history, conflict and political views with each other. These are the reasons why the countries split. Korea was split into two separate countries because of conflicts with each other. The two Koreas have negative conflicts with each other because they do not agree on many things.
