What would you do if a German watch maker was mistreating an old clock mender? Well in the Hiding Place, Mr. Ten Boom was faced with this very decision. We all agree that Otto was beating Christoffels but while some people believe Mr. Ten Boom shouldn’t have let him stay, others believe that Mr. Ten Boom should have let Otto stay. Mr. Ten Boom should not have let Otto stay to work at the Beje for three reasons Otto was turning Christoffels job into a burden, Otto was not trustable, and Otto was despising the Christians at the Beje.
