Should Pitbulls Be Banned?
Pitbulls are not inherently aggressive dogs. In fact, in temperance tests, Pit Bulls were the second most tolerant breed behind Golden Retrievers. The least tolerant was the Chihuahua. Pitbulls should not be banned as they are not as aggressive as everyone makes them out to be because chihuahuas have been ranked the most aggressive dog breed. Pitbulls aren’t as aggressive as society makes them look and there are dogs that are substantially more aggressive but the stereotypes dont change. On the other hand some people think pitbulls are very dangerous and people should not be able to own them.There are many studies and evidence that help prove these points.

If Pitbulls were banned there would be a large number of people who would be negatively affected from it. Pitbulls help multiple groups of people as it says” They are seizure watch dogs, diabetic alert dogs, comfort nursing home residents and offer a plethora of services to human counterparts. Eradicating Pit Bulls will affect more than just our family dogs; it will affect the much larger number of citizens that these dogs help, as opposed to attack.” Therefore we can see that pitbulls have many important jobs and banning them just because some think they are only aggressive and dangerous would be irrational. Keeping Pitbulls Instead of banning them would give our society more benefits than disadvantages. Pitbulls give benefits to many people of different kinds such as”Therapy and service dogs, agility champions, search & rescue dogs, and even military heroes.” Even though harsh stereotypes seek pitbulls out to be Dangerous and aggressive they can be used for many important tasks that help people and our society. All in all it is clear that pitbulls have been unfairly treated.
Pitbull bans are unfair because the dogs are not as aggressive as everyone claims they are. One of the most important points I covered would most likely be that if pitbulls were banned a large group of people would be affected as pitbulls are working dogs and help multiple groups of people. In the end we can see that pitbulls are very misunderstood dogs that have many harsh stereotypes that make people believe they are very dangerous and
