“Will there ever be a cure.” This quote was said by Tella Holloway from Fire and Flood. It was in hope there will ever be a cure for the mystrious disease Tella has. Her Parents are helpless trying to find out an imaginable remodies to cure her as in moving far away to get fresh air. The Puritans would despise the Novel “Fire and Flood” due to swearing, dress, and non sin free lives. The Puritans would oppose the book Fire and Flood due to the language. When something comes up missing in the house Tella gets blammed for it. She eventually snapped on her brother and that turned into a argument. That argument turned into a lot of foul and unessary language. Tella left her house late one night to go to the store while everyone was sleeping. The store was going to close soon and she did not think she was going to make it on time. Of corse she was upset so she took her anger out verbily. And the final instant was when Tella was on the plane. She reconised a tall man in a suit with blue eyes. But she said “not the kind of blue eyes that make her fall in love but the find of blue eyes to tell you to back off.” The statement used to say back off was used in a foul language. …show more content…

Tella and her btoher lied to thier dad. They were talking about things they did not want their dad to hear so they hid his hearing aid. When he asled where it was they pretended like they never saw it. The parents of Tella want her to beleieve there is still hope for her. So her parents lie to make her feel like theres a chance.
